So I make that user account again, and everything seems fine once I get to the desktop. It can 'restore' and when you do that, it basically undoes creation of the user account. It won't boot up, warning of errors it tries to fix. It installs and I go through the setup and it seems like everything is good.īut after the first reboot, Windows commits suicide. Here's the endless loop of insanity I'm stuck in with Windows: I have BOINC on there and it uses the GPU perfectly, no problems. Mac OS works great, currently running High Sierra. I want to use that power to do some gaming. So I just went and installed an RX 480 GPU in it so now this machine has some serious graphics power. 6 core CPU, tons of RAM, SSD for MacOS blah blah blah. I have a 2009 Mac Pro with very good specs.
